OK I'm a little confused because you mentioned that you have different OS
versions involved.

Are you saying you have say two XP SP3 machines side-by-side which gpresult is
behaving differently on?

Well they are an image from the vendor, and from our machines, we are seeing
different things. I am going to scan it from my Windows 7 machine and see
wassup, but the computer accounts are in the OU they are supposed to be when I
run the dsquery computer command, so confident that the computer is in its
correct OU.

Are the machines with different results all the same OS? It's possible they
upgraded the tool across releases.

If you're getting different results on the same platform/service pack I can go
look at the tool and see what it's doing.

Thanks,

Running GPRESULT remotely from my Windows 7 and XP machines to check out the
group policy of a workstation that GE Medical systems says isnt working
accordingly.

We pre populated the computer accounts in the OU's they specified, but at one
hospital when we do a GPresult against a remote machine it shows the OU path
under the computer settings. At another hospital it doesn't, but both show they
are getting the GPO they are assigned, and when a do a dsquery computer
PATH_TO_OU all the computer accounts show accordingly.

Has anyone seen this before? Something to worry about ( since it seems the
vendor is hell bent on blaming AD or something at our sites for there
troubles), and note this all happened after an upgrade.

Any ideas?
