I have some configuration changes I am planning for and this involves adding a NIC to a W2k8r2 box that's untagged into a Storage vlan on a different segment. So long as that interface is not set to register itself in DNS (it will never be addressed by this ip) is there anything else I need/should do? The client side segment these servers are on is the only addressable segment they would ever be used by.
