I have had phone based phishing attempts several times in the last few
months. Usually they call as a member o four HP Accounts Team and our <CEO,
Director, Some other IT Management person> referred them to me to get
further information. We do have an HP Account Team with a TAM and other
support people (We have 4 HP Superdomes and a decent size blade
infrastructure) but I know them and they have the appropriate contact
information on file. But seriously, the CIO of my company referring people
to me? Some project manager I do not have a working relationship with? If
they had wanted me to give some person information, I would have gotten an
email from them directing me to.

I have had requests for more information on AV we are using, printing,
database vendors, etc.

On one call I was bored so I kept them on the line with vague
generalizations while they tried name after name of who 'really' referred me
to them. Two who were no longer with the company.
