Hello Everyone: I noticed an issue with our DNS the other day where the IP address for our workstations in the HOST (A) records in the forward lookup zones are not matching in the reverse lookup zones. The reverse zone contains accurate IP’s for each machine.
We have AD setup on a Windows 2008 R2 server with DHCP also AD-integrated. Has anyone else seen something like this, or have any ideas on how to correct it? Would it have something to do with scavenging the records, or something with DHCP not set right? TIA!
