I guess I should dust off the evaluation I did 6 years ago where I recommended Cisco over Enterasys and it actually would have been cheaper?
Oh... it was over-ruled by the PHB CTO at that time because going Cisco would have been too similar to the gear used by the institute's central IT organization, and it might have made it too easy for them to "take over". These switches were just installed last Friday.
