CudaTel looks promising. At your lunch and learn, did you find out what phones they use? I'm guessing they recommended Polycomm. Also, the "10 max concurrent calls," does that include internal calls, or only outgoing with no limit to internal extension-to-extension calls?
Whatever you do, have a local vendor price you a comparative Shoretel solution. I have been blessed by Shoretel being my first phone solution, and I can imagine it being orders of magnitude more difficult as phones, phone behavior and user expectations are funny and fickle. Shoretel has handled nearly every curveball we've thrown at it. Other options to check out (I am not personally familiar with these, but they have piqued my interest): 3CX TrixBox (by Digium, the Asterisk guys) Taridium I'm sure there will be other recommendations as well. --Matt Ross Ephrata School District ----- Original Message ----- From: Richard Stovall [mailto:[email protected]] To: NT System Admin Issues [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thu, 21 Oct 2010 17:32:06 -0700 Subject: OT: Barracuda VoIP (Cudatel) > Anyone using Barracuda's "Cudatel" VoIP product?
