  Anything in the logs of either DC or the clients?

  If you try doing a DNS query with NSLOOKUP to the IP address of the
unresponsive DC, do you get a response?

  What's the local DNS topology look like?

  Try a network sniffer, filtering on UDP ports 53, 66, and 67.
