I've done it, as a passthrough disk. The machine it is on now runs fairly normally, except if you open My Computer, then all bets are off. Open Eplorer on the other hand, and it is fine. Remove the drive and things work normally. I would really like to get rid of that disk, but my boss is having none of that.
