I have 5 fortinet firewalls, I use a protection profile to filter Facebook and Myspace. it has been rock solid. We also block Instant messaging clients, and it is near bullet proof. I don't have a fortimanager, just set the policy as needed on each firewall. Curious that they would not be able to help you get it done from the manager. Maybe you can use protection profiles and not have to bring another product in?
