Yep, this is exactly what I did from my Windows 2008 SP2 machine from the D:\ drive of a old NT 4.0 machine.
I had to use the attrib -s -H c:\foldername to make the folder accessible via the GUI. Thanks for the feedback I will keep that under the hat for future migrations, since we are going to Windows 2008 a lot more these days. Z Edward E.
