Oh? I briefly browsed each process and looked at the files each one had opened, but there were too many processes…how would I get a listing of all open files so I can scan or search for the opened one I’m after? If I do a “File Handle or substring” search I can see the file is opened but can’t tell which PID has it…

Computer Management does not show anyone having this file open, is there a utility that will let me click on the file itself and have it show if someone has it open? They were able to edit it yesterday. Google-Fu of that phrase returns many hits of folks with the same issue over the years, and I swore I have seen and resolved this before, but for the life of me can’t remember… David Lum // SYSTEMS ENGINEER NORTHWEST EVALUATION ASSOCIATION (Desk) 503.548.5229 // (Cell) 503.267.9764 ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
