OKaaaayyyyy

So, if I put addresses on the ethernet subinterfaces 0.115 and 0.99,
plus an address on bvi1, I can ping and telnet to the two addresses on
the vlans from anywhere off or on the WAP, but I cannot ping the
address on the bvi - except from the WAP itself. For instance, I put
192.168.99.200 on bvi1, and no workstation on any vlan can ping that
address, though I can ping that address while telnet'ed into the WAP.
Ditto if I replace that with an unused address on the 192.168.15.0/24
subnet.

With that configuration, I can also ping anywhere from the WAP, which
I would expect.

Doesn't matter what the address is on bvi1 - it can be from either
subnet, and I can't ping it from anywhere outside of the WAP.

But, if I remove the address from the bvi, I can't ping anything from
the WAP - I get the error "% Unrecognized host or address, or protocol
not running."

And, if I remove an address from either of the ethernet subinterfaces,
the other ethernet subinterface address still works just fine.

And, just to top it off, I've change the default gateway from
192.168.15.1 to 192.168.99.1, and it makes no difference.

Heck, I've even added 'ip information-reply' to bvi1, just on the off
chance that it might help - no such luck.

Anyone got any more clues for me on this one?

Thanks,

Kurt
