I think that is good advice. We are hiring and doing some phone screenings today to see who we want to bring in for an interview, one fellow did just as you suggested and sent a very nice, professional email to the recruiter we are working with right after the call today, the recruiter forwarded the email to my boss and I the tenor of it left a very favorable impression...
