I agree, you should get this done if you are contemplating it and have bad vision. I got mine done about 8 years ago and also suffer from the nighttime starburst vision but it is worth it to see clearly any other time. I have no regrets and would do it again in a heartbeat. I have better than 20/20 in both eyes and had really bad vision before. It took about a day for my vision to clear and two weeks for my corneas to heal in which time you can't rub your eyes, and you have to be really careful in the shower.
My husband got it done last year, the Lasek kind, and his recovery was a lot slower but the procedure is more in depth. His cornea's are thin so the doctor recommended the Lasek and it took him about 4 weeks to get to 20/20. He has no regrets either.
