I have been trying to use EdgeSight For Load Testing v3.8 from Citrix to
stress test my new XenApp 6 farm, but I am finding the product a bit on the
flaky side (to say the least). Now I am not familiar with testing as a
process so it is a bit of a steep learning curve, but does anyone possibly
have a) any suggestions as to a better product or method for simulating some
genuine user load on these systems, or b) a link to a good guide or blog
that tells you how to get EdgeSight For Load Testing working properly to do
some simple simulations? The user guide from Citrix managed to get me
started quite well, but then it starts getting bogged down in thousands of
options rather than giving any real-world answers, such as why the thing is
timing out constantly and throwing up "concurrent connection limit exceeded"
errors all over the place. As usual for the day after a football match, my
Google-fu appears to be weak.

I could just migrate a couple of hundred users, but I think the support guys
might kill me :-)

TIA,

JRR

a question."
