My Samsung has a Ethernet port and supports some sort of media server on the network. I don't know much about it but I suspect it's a brand standard so you should be able to pull the manual for any recent model and see what it needs/can do.

We want to show a looped video on a few TV's in the lobby. Instead of buying converters to run HDMI over Ethernet, I was thinking of the LCD TV's that have a Ethernet port built in. Has anyone used one in this manner?
