Why clutter your desk when you can cram one inside your PC!

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind while I get other suggestions. :-) I"d prefer
something a little smaller... like a 4 or 5 port. Don't need that many ports
for one office.

Very true! I got stuck with setting it up when remote users wanted to be able
to print to their local machines.

Sorry for the hijack! :) Doesn't answer your original question though. I've
been using a D-Link DGS-1008D (8 port gb) switch with no complaints for quite a
long time.

Yeah…but it’s easier to just print to an IP printer. ☺

If you are using Client Access, I know there used to be a way to print from the
AS/400 to a locally connected printer. I set a few of those up many moons
ago...and it seemed to work ok.

Just a thought

One of my users just claimed an unused laser printer for his office (Acct.

What do you guys recommend for a small (4-5 port) network switch?
To anyone who wants to know, this is for real, looking for recommendations for
a RIGHT NOW purchase, not "next time." :-)

Thanks!
