Where do you see that Sam? Why can’t I print to my cloud printer from Chrome?
For now Google Cloud Print is only available in mobile devices such as smart phones and Chrome notebooks. http://www.google.com/support/cloudprint/ I don't see a mention that any app is allowed to print, but I could be missing something.
