I guess I could fathom it. What if Adblock wasn't actually excluding anything for that page? Does it still do something behind the scenes that would mess it up?)

It's a browser add-in some people use called AdBlock. This thing either kills or blocks javascript, of which we have a snippet on our website from SalesGenius.
