I have 2 Nooks.  The e-ink screen for reading in the sun or long books.  The
color backlit for magazines or newspapers or short reads in dim light.  The
backlit can be hard on the eyes if reading a novel.  Didn't like the
proprietary format for Kindle.

If you want a dedicated e-reader, doing nothing else, I recommend something
based on the e-ink technology.
