I agree with what previous posters said, but would add that having OSPF available in the IOS is not the same as having it configured. In other words, if you have not already configured it, I would not expect that any "show" type commands that reference it would work (until it is configured). I may not be completely understanding what you are saying, so apologies if that is the case.
