Relying on RBL alone is not a sufficient way to combat SPAM. I use multiple RBLs, RWLs, Vipre and Barracuda.

Im on Spamhaus' site and don't see anything about them being down... a couple of other providers seem to be working ok (I can at least ping/nslookup) the server.
