This is too good not to pass on. So, we all know about the massive breach in Sony's security. Millions of customers had their personal info stolen. As a result, Sony voluntarily shut down most of their online entertainment operations, including the PlayStation Network, and Qriocity (their streaming media Netflix-wannabe service). It's been down going on five weeks now, but Sony has been turning things back on this week. Until now -- they've pulled the plug again.
Sony was asking people to reset their account passwords, and authenticating them with their email address and date-of-birth. Email and DOB was among the information stolen. http://games.slashdot.org/story/11/05/18/151211/PSN-Up-And-Then-Down-Again Great job Sony!
