Thanks for the replies. I may not have to move this thing after all. The host server was shutting down and restarting a few times a day causing havoc with our accounting app. I'm not positive yet but it may be happening due to a bad power strip and not the server itself. The server is a brand new. Nice to know I can upgrade from 2008 to R2. I only have one instance of 2008 32bit and it happens to be the VM I'm trying to move because the developer doesn't have 64bit support yet.
