Hi,

This is your problem: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=258063

Site needs to be in the Intranet security zone for IE to attempt auto-logon.

Cheers
Ken

Oh never mind....

I had a little worm tickling the back of my brain, and I just figured it out. I
think I went through something like this a few years ago.

We had a copy of the old web site copied to the new web site.

We were testing against the new web site.

I hadn't set a name for the new web site - we were testing using the bare IP
address.

Entering in a dummy name in DNS for the test site eliminates the popup.

Yeesh.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks to Ben, too.

No thanks to Google, because it's just not that smart *all* the time.

Kurt
