Cool, GFis mail archiver product already has this and you can deploy it over the network. I think the free mail archiva has an import tool but not a discovery tool. GFi's was far the most advanced I had used of the few products. It would deploy an agent to the desktop scan the box for pst, report it back to the archiving server and then import it according to the rulesets.
