Found that there is a DFS-R replication set (W2K8R2) setup on two servers
here in our environment and wanted to just get a quick status on the
health of the replication set. Is anyone else disappointed with the lack
of a quick visual representation of the health status of the replication
set? Yes, I am aware of the reports you can run and how to automate that,
and what dfsrdiag, and dfsradmin give you from the command line. Also
aware of what you can get from SCOM. Just surprised at how it doesn't
give you any indication of health state when you load the GUI. A simple
red X or some other indicator that there is a problem when you load the
GUI would be very functional.
