Hello All :

Fianlly got my system back up after trying a few days to install from the
internet. I gave up and went back to the trusty cds. Can any body guide me a
little here, is there a way to update /upgrade my system online without
breaking it? I'm like most red blooded software tech - endusers; I want the
most up to date system that I can run on the ol pb1400.

In your view, which repositories would be safe considering the kernel we are
running. This may be obvious to most of you but to a newbie of sorts - it is
greek.

Thx,
Vito

It will be sid (unstable).
Another option is to use www.backports.org and keep sarge (current stable).
