I also enabled mouse button emulation for the middle and right button
reflected by F11 and F12 respectively.
It is done by adding the following lines to /etc/sysctl.conf:
dev.mac_hid.mouse_button_emulation=1
dev.mac_hid.mouse_button2_keycode=87
dev.mac_hid.mouse_button3_keycode=88
This automatically stores those values into procfs on the next reboot.
You can also put them manually into required files:
echo "see value above" > /proc/sys/kernel/mac_hid/...
