Hi!

I was just wondering what's happening under the hood when viewing a
GeoOp through an Iop (i.e. ScanlineRender) down the tree, but in 3D
viewmode only. I figured it's somewhat different than viewing the 3D
op directly without having an Iop in between. When I view the GeoOp
through the ScanlineRender in 3D viewmode, changing the parameters
cause Nuke to crash. But changing parameters and viewing the node
directly without a ScanlineRender in between works fine. Also changing
parameters of the GeoOp in 2D mode and viewing after the
ScanlineRender works fine. Just the 3D view crashes when not directly
viewing the 3D geo op. So this is what my Op does: changing the knobs
from my GeoOp are causing the geo to be rebuilt (Group_Objects in the
hash is changed). So they all get deleted and new objects and
different primitive types are created in the GeoList.
What is so different about viewing the Op through an Iop in 3D mode to
viewing it directly in 3D mode? And why does it not crash when I am in
2D mode? Requests are probably different?

Thanks for your help,

Phong
