Ladies and Gents - I'm proposing to our dev team that we develop a node to
stroke open splines. As of right now, the built-in roto tools allow for open
splines, but don't pass out any data (as far as I can tell), so can't be
stroked with an additional node. That means we're going to have to build our
own Bezier tool, which will hopefully allow copying and pasting the roto data
from the existing Roto node. I need to guesstimate the time involved in doing
this to justify the cost. Can anyone answer for me:

1. Is there public documentation on how the existing Roto or RotoPaint
node handles splines so we can copy/paste the data?

2. Can we use standard math that extrapolates an enlarged shape from the
vector data and then converts it to pixels, or do we need to interrupt the
spline preview sent to the viewer and use that as pixel data?

Thanks in advance!
Den
