Latest update: Although Nuke appears to work with nodes compiled on my development machine in 2010, when the DLLs are distributed to the enterprise and installed on machines that do not have VS 2010 installed, they will not run. Since it's not possible or advisable to try to have both 2005/8 and 2010 DLLs (specifically MSVCR100.dll) installed, I am officially giving up on 2010 and moving to 2008.
Don't you just need to instal on these machines the following: Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=bd512d9e-43c8-4655-81bf-9350143d5867
