Currently we are using 1.46, statically linked.
When we precompile we use:
-fPIC -O3 -DNDEBUG -DBOOST_DISABLE_ASSERTS
So we do not need -fvisibility=hidden (which btw is gcc only).
That's interesting - when I linked to a Boost lib which wasn't compiled
with that option, then Nuke would crash...
