Hello All, Here is the thing:

I have pretty detailed PLY(point cloud) files of interior space. The file is
simple XYZ XNYNZN(normals) RGB values separated by spaces. I'm looking for a
way to bring it into the Nuke Tracker node or to the Point Cloud Generator
node. I've been successful at parsing out Nuke scripts from 3ds Max that
contain Cameras, lights, objects etc. using python or maxscript.
So initially I though - lets just parse out a camera tracker node with 3d
trackers out of 3ds Max (since I have the point cloud in max and I can loop
through the values). But after loading a solved tracker node into my text
editor i quickly realized that it will take me while to figure out what all of
those numbers mean.
So my question is - how do i load my point cloud into Nuke and have it appear
as 3d trackers(rgb colored and all) so that I can solve a camera from it, or
just even get the pointcloud into nuke and have each point colored selectable
and displayed in the viewport.
I tried the FBX way - and that's a bust since the files are massive and no rgb
data is passed, I'm looking into rendering openEXR of the scene and using
PointsToPosition node but that method isn't the best since it's buggy in the
viewport and has a tendency to dissapear after refreshing. Having point cloud
as 3d tracker points is the best way to go...
Any help in deciphering the camera tracker node is greatly appreciated.
