Not *quite* entirely true. First of all, check out this: http://forums.thefoundry.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5801&highlight=visual+studio+2010
Second, this is highly recommended: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/vcblog/archive/2009/12/08/c-native-multi-targeting.aspx But note that Daffodil only works if you have the VS2005/8 system installed. Unfortunately, VS 8.0 (2005) is no longer suppored by Microsoft, and is not available from them. The only way to do 2005 dev is to find a copy on eBay, or some other source. It's *possible* to do Nuke dev with 2010, but you have to be very careful about what you do. My basic conclusion was to just find an old copy of 2005 and use that. Now I use the 2010 UI and Daffodil to access the 2005 libraries. Steve
