There's a whole host of things we're slowly/progressively doing doing to
the DDImage code, but unfortunately we've got higher priorities
(development and bugfixing), so it's slow progress that we're doing in
the background. Explicit requests for it would certainly increase the
priority a bit.
In the meantime, some IDEs (QtCreator and Netbeans (shudder) ) have
options to syntax highlight virtual functions in a certain way, which
makes things a lot easier.
