You can add user knobs to a Viewer node but those controls won't be visible on the Viewer's front panel, and there's no way of modifying the pixel processing to include the new function.
The easiest way to do this is to use a viewer process node and open the node's panel with the 'show panel' viewer process menu item. If the node is custom you could make a slider control show up in the viewer's strip panels, but they'd only be visible if the node's control panel was opened. I'd submit a feature request to the Foundry to allow the docking of add'l controls even with the node panel is closed. -jonathan On Jan 25, 2012, at 7:18 PM, John Cairns wrote: > Hi all, > > Been trying to figure this out for a while, is there any way to add a > saturation slider to the viewer window (like the exposure/gamma sliders)? > > I crank the sat to check shots constantly and it would be great to have it > accessible all the time.
