hey Ivan, I was using valueProvider right at the beginning, so I was looking for a way to refresh it. Then following Steve's instruction, set_value() + updateWidgets() did the job.
However, just now, I am doing some trial-and-error test and discovered that the 'updateWidgets()' call is not necessary in my case. All I need is just to send those output knobs 'set_value(<any_value>)' calls and then they pull values from valueProvider and drive a refresh automatically. I know it still sounds silly but i just want to understand more how these refreshes work. Mike
