Hello, I am working on a enumeration knob which displays metadata from upstream, so I am interested to understand how Nuke's "viewMetaData" op works especially how it works when it has no downstream op connected.
I am able to fetch metaData in my knobs() with no downstream op connected but I am not able to fetch new metaData from upstream whenever the user changes the frame in the UI (as my knobs() will not be called at all) ..... but 'viewMetaData' node refreshes and pulls new per-frame metadata, how does it work ? Really need some enlightenment :) Best, Mike
