I know this crops up quite a bit, but i've never seen it resolved.

I really need to get Nuke working with ffmpeg/ffmbc or cineform.

Has anyone got ffmpegreader or ffmpegwriter plugins compiled on win x64 with
Nuke 7? I've had a go, i can complile the example plugin okay (VS2010) but i
believe the ffmpeg libraries the code refers to are not current versions and
i'm not quite up on nuke/ffmpeg enough yet to get them working. I thought i'd
ask first because it seems like a common request.

It seems nigh impossible to get high bit depth files into and out of nuke
except for frame based formats. Reading say cineform (12bit 444) via DirectShow
appears to clip to 8bit. Under QT it won't open at all, just noise. ProRes 4444
seems to open (not sure about depth) but that's impossible to work with on
windows in any kind of pipeline...

any pointers would be really useful...

thanks
paul
