Hi Thorsten, Unfortunately you can’t write Node plugins for Nuke that can manipulate the DAG or script. It would be *really* nice to be able to write custom Group nodes that could perform operations on their contents and on script load/save, or to make custom Viewers. For that to happen the Node interface at a minimum would need to be exposed in the NDK, perhaps as a separate .so from DDImage. Maybe it’s on the Foundry’s development roadmap - it’s worth asking support about. Otherwise you can attach icons to nodes using Python, and we’ve done custom status indicators that way in the past.
