I've got a Reader subclass, and I'm wondering if it's possible for a Reader to get access to the region that is being requested from the Read that owns it. My hope is to leverage that info to optimize the amount of file I/O that needs to happen, but as far as I can tell, there's no way to get at it.
The Reader is currently written against the Nuke 7 API, so I can't leverage the Reader's planar interface, but since I imagine that's threaded as well, I doubt it would help at all. Anyway, am I overlooking something here? Thanks for any info. -Nathan
