Hey again. Some diving in later:

It seems the issue is the same knob instance being added to a panel twice (a 
divider). I still need to investigate further as there seem
to be other places that do the very same without failing.

Hey everyone,

i am looking into upgrading our toolset to work with 6.3. Currently it crashes 
with said error message.
I did not really find anything related in the release notes. Anyone has seen 
something similar between
6.2 and 6.3 by chance?
