Last time I tried to mess with this, I found that many of the "other" settings were essential packed into an encoded string in a knob like .advanced or something. I don't recall, as it has been a couple years.
I never did find any information on unpacking it either. Now this was a couple years ago so it is entirely possible things have changed.
