Are you using the custom_lut_menu_mode package? If so, you need to set the
'RV_CUSTOM_DLUT_DIR' environment variable. If not, how are you expecting to
access these LUTs?

Just started to play around with RV and I could not find how to add
costum LUTs path to RV in the preferences. Do I need to add a env
variable or is it something that can be added in the UI
