I'm not near Nuke or the manual at the moment, but I believe there is a way to 
connect multiple viewer inputs and keep their view settings. If I'm 
understanding your question, you could connect inputs 1 and 2 to the same node, 
but have 1 looking at rgba and 2 looking at say depth. Then you could toggle 
between 1 and 2 and see rgba and depth. I *think* it's holding shift while 
connecting a second view, but look at the manual under the viewer's section. 
Pretty sure you can.
