hey hugo, i actually tried something like this with this function but the problem is that the script will be driven from outside nuke and in the documentation it says:
"These are executed when the user changes the value of any knob when the control panel is open. " so i guess that just switching the knob via a textfile without open nuke and the node into the properties panel wont actually change the root format... (though i have to admit i didnt test it yet) so my next thought was that i could try to link the root format with expression or tcl to the switch which as i said didnt work... jaden
