just tested in nuke 7. Unfortunately, it's still a bug in the terminal. Any node_name selection will only return return values from 'Producer Perspective'.
Please send a note to the foundry, let them know what you are trying to do and request and update on: #27579-(node.forceValidate() function seems to be broken). Maybe another request might help up the priority a bit. Good luck - JRAB
