That's dirty, but how about you have a certain gizmo that will only exist
in that script? A callback checks when that gizmo is created and runs your
code.  Since no other script would have that type of node, you know that
your code would only run for that particular script.  Not sure if that was
already suggested or if that makes any sense.  Haven't had coffee yet.
