After setting the NUKE_PATH to a local directory and pointing all gizmos & scripts to the same local path in the init.py , I was able to load the UI faster in around 26 seconds. The only thing Nuke will read from this network drive (H:/.nuke) is the uistate.ini.
I couldn't find any hint or environment variables that force Nuke to search this network directory which is mapped to a server hundred miles away from where I am located. Before I sort this out with IT, is there a way to force Nuke NOT to search or skip a particular path during UI loading?
